About the project

The project was designed in accordance with Orange County Utilities criteria. The potable water system design included demand calculations and hydraulic modeling of the system to demonstrate available fire flows and demands for each phase of proposed development. The reclaimed water system design included demand calculations and hydraulic modeling of several independent systems which bridge Orange County Utilities and Water Conserve II facilities creating interconnectivity for service. The wastewater generation system included wastewater generation calculations, determination of gravity sewer district limits, design of 5 pump stations (duplex & triplex station configurations), and the associated manifold forcemain systems. The wastewater system design provided for 4 different phased conditions including reversal of flows from an existing treatment plant south of the project to a future treatment plant north of the project area.
