About the project
This project has several design challenges including flood plain impacts, and several offsite discharges through the property that must be accommodated and bypassed.
During the geotechnical investigation it was discovered that the site also contained sizable amounts of clay and other unsuitable materials.
Poulos & Bennett worked with the geotechnical engineers to create an optimized excavation plan to remove the unsuitable materials.
This project is under jurisdictional review and construction is anticipated in the second quarter of 2016.
