We were fortunate to spend time at United Against Poverty and it has been nothing short of inspiring! From stocking shelves to serving together, we all had fun making a tangible difference in the community.
The mission of United Against Poverty is to serve those in poverty by providing crisis care, case management, transformative education, food and household subsidy, employment training and placement, personal empowerment training and active referrals to other collaborative social service providers. United Against Poverty is an organization providing families with both emergency food supplies and the opportunity to obtain highly subsidized groceries, including hygiene products, six days a week.
Our team served in the Member Share Grocery Program by re-stocking and organizing shelves after work on Friday. Our team members along with our children and families will definitely go to UP Orlando and serve again.
We appreciate the work that United Against Poverty does in Central Florida and our team enjoyed giving back!
