We are proud to be partnering with Orange County Public Schools, Sunterra Communities, Duke Energy, and Junior Davis Construction to prepare for the opening of two new schools. Set to open in August of 2022, our Development Services Team is coordinating efforts to expedite the installation of utilities and power to serve students, teachers, and staff at the new elementary and middle schools.
Located on the northwest corner of Avalon Road and soon to be Silverleaf Road, these schools will serve the Horizon West Area. The elementary school on the site is proposed to relieve overcrowding at Whispering Oak and Water Spring while the middle school will relieve overcrowding at Bridgewater Middle School.
