We were proud to serve the City of Orlando and Orange Count to develop an access roadway along a new transmission line located within the City of Orlando and unincorporated Orange County, Florida.

The access road is approximately 20,000 linear feet and consists of stabilized grassed or gravel surface. Stormwater management is provided within roadside swales along the transmission line corridor. In addition, the project includes approximately forty (40) 100’ x 130’ reinforced earthen pads along the new and existing transmission line ROW and gravel entrances off of the cross-streets. The Substation is located within a FEMA designated Zone A area based on the FEMA FIRM panel.

The civil engineering design for the transmission line corridor includes erosion control, clearing, grading, stormwater conveyance, stormwater management ponds, floodplain impacts and compensating storage ponds, roadway design, pad design, as well as construction plans preparation and permitting.
